Gauhati High Court Judicial Service (Grade-I) Online Form 2024

The Gauhati High Court invites online applications for the appointment in the Judicial Service (Grade-I), to fill up 12 vacant posts. The appointees will be placed in Assam Judicial Service and will carry a pay scale of Rs. 1,44,840-1,94,660 per month besides other allowances as admissible under the rules. The last date to apply online is 17th November 2024. Applications are invited from practicing advocates; all posts are unreserved. Application fee is to be paid by the applicant based on their category.

Qualification for the Post - Judicial Service (Grade-I)

Judicial Service (Grade-I) Eligibility for the post The candidate must have a degree in Law and must be a practicing advocate. Upper age limit is 35 years and for candidates belonging to unreserved categories, it is 45 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ST (P)/ ST(H) categories will only have an upper age limit of 48 years. They would be appointed in Assam Judicial Service with pay in pay scale of ₹1,44,840 to ₹1,94,660 per month and other applicable allowances, as admissible in Assam Judicial Service, as per rules.

How to Apply - Gauhati High Court Judicial Service (Grade-I) Online Form 2024

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online by following the steps below:

• Step 1 - Registration: Visit www.ghconline.gov.in and click on "Click here to apply." Provide your primary details (Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No., and Email). A Registration Code will be generated. Note this down, as it will be used for subsequent phases.
• Step 2 - Profile Details: After registration, fill in your profile information (gender, category, address, qualification, experience, etc.). Upload your photograph and signature in .jpg, .png, or .gif format (size 5 KB - 30 KB). Ensure your photo and signature meet the size and dimension requirements.
• Step 3 - Submission: Verify all details in Phase 2. Make sure all fields are filled, and your photo and signature are correctly uploaded. Once verified, click the "Submit Candidature" button (after ticking the Declaration checkbox). This action will complete the application process, and no further modifications can be made.
• Step 4 - Fee Payment: After submitting your application, take a printout of the Fee Payment Challan. Pay the fee at any State Bank of India branch, using cash. Payment must be made within two working days of submission, and on or before the last payment date. Keep the bank-stamped Challan as proof.
• Final Steps: After fee payment, the payment details (Journal No., Paid Amount, etc.) will be updated in your account. You can then print the Acknowledgement Receipt and Application Form for future reference.
